If procrastination isn't about laziness, then what is it about?

This recent NY Times article is a great place to start.

Research suggests that it's all about the short term alleviation from unpleasant feelings at the cost of long term relief and that compassion is the way through to less stress and more contentment.

Well, that we can do!

Join us as for this 4 week gathering to explore this vexing and universal challenge through meditation, awareness practices and compassionate abiding. We'll have time for meditation, discussion, and teachings from Pema Chodron on maitri, The Four Immeasurables, getting hooked, old habits, curiosity, and humor.

Only prerequisite is that you put off registering for this class.

Elissa Kane is a meditation teacher who knows a lot about her beguiling techniques for procrastination.  Now she dives into how we might work with our own minds to provide some relief for these exhausting habits.

And as always, you are welcome to pay what you're able, and contribute more so others can attend.
