Proclaiming Humanity's Goodness: Shambhala Meditation

About this Program

In February of this year, the Shambhala Meditation Center of Halifax hosted Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, alongside Acharya Eve Rosenthal and Acharya Noel McLellan, for an intimate retreat weekend to explore the practice of Shambhala Meditation.

This fall, the Albany Shambhala Center is making this program available via the program's video recordings, under the guidance and facilitation of a senior Shambhala teacher.

Attendees can expect an immersion in Shambhala Meditation, a subtle yet profoundly transformative meditation technique, as presented by the Sakyong himself.

More About Proclaiming Basic Goodness

In the midst of great change and information overload, how should we live? What can we do? Where can we find the strength to face the challenges and confusion in our lives, as well as in the greater world?

According to the Shambhala teachings, our own humanity is the answer. Within our bodies, minds, and hearts, there is a genuine simplicity that we can return to and from which we can draw confidence, clarity, and compassion.

Shambhala Meditation is a practice that brings us home to the simplicity and wisdom of our human experience. It is a proclamation of humanity's goodness that helps us learn to work with our lives and embody the courage the world is calling for.
